Arizona Sport Shirts Crown Jewel Cup Begins May 16 at Eagle Raceway
BATAVIA, OH (May 12, 2026) – The Arizona Sport Shirts Crown Jewel Cup mini-series within the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series schedule will kick off on May 16 at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska. The event will pay $50,000 to the winner and marks the first of 12 Crown Jewel Cup events scheduled for the 2026 season.
Drivers competing full-time with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will accumulate points at all Crown Jewel Cup events paying $50,000 or more to win throughout the season. The driver with the highest point total at the conclusion of the series will earn a $15,000 bonus at the year-end awards banquet. Second place in the standings will receive $3,500, while third place will earn $1,500.
The Malvern Bank presents the High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway on May 16 will officially launch the 2026 Crown Jewel Cup competition. The high-banked 3/8-mile oval has consistently delivered exciting racing action, including last year’s event won by Ricky Thornton Jr., who collected the $50,000 top prize.
The weekend at Eagle Raceway will feature three complete programs. Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 will each pay $10,000 to win, while Saturday’s 75-lap finale on May 16 will award $50,000 to the winner from a total purse exceeding $150,000.
