I am a second-generation super dirt late model driver, following in my dad, Garry Mahoney's footsteps. I started my racing career in go-karts in 1993, then moved to mini cups in 1999 and into the super late model division in 2002. I won the 2008 Brownstown Speedway Super Late Model Championship.
I traveled with the Lucas Oil Series with MasterSbilt Racecars, Don O'Neal as the driver. I won the Lucas Oil Crew Chief of the Year award in 2012. After racing for a few years, I competed in a partial schedule of the Summer Nationals Series with Bryan Bowman Motorsports, leading points for the first week. Later, I had the privilege of racing with CJ Rayburn in his house car for a few races, winning the Collins Memorial race at Twin Cities. One of my most memorable events was racing in Australia during Boxing Day-special shout-out to our friends there. Currently, my wife and I own our two-car race team, with huge support from Eric and Stephanie Bryant of P3 Racing Graphix. I can't thank all of our sponsors and fans enough for their support.
