TALLADEGA, AL (October 9, 2009) – Friday night, October 9^th, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is set to air the Talladega Short Track Nationals from Talladega Short Track live on the internet.  The broadcast will get underway at 9:00pm eastern, 8:00pm central on www.RaceCastLive.com.

For the first time in 2009, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will visit the 1/3 mile “Hornet’s Nest” for a $7,000 to win event.  In last year’s Talladega Short Track Nationals, South Carolina’s Chris Madden scored the victory.

Friday night's race begins a three race swing that concludes the 2009 season for the LOLMDS.  Following Friday night’s broadcast, the series will make its way to Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA for the annual “Dixie Shootout” on Saturday night, which will pay $10,000 to the winner.  Following that event, Sunday night, the series will hold its $10,000 to win season finale at Rome International Speedway in Rome, GA.
