CORONA, CA (November 19, 2009) � COMP Cams and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will honor and award Cornett Racing Engines as the top engine builder of the year on the series in 2009. Cornett Racing Engines based in Somerset, KY earned the most engine builders points during the year competing against seven other engine builders that participated in the COMP Cams Engine Builders Challenge in 2009.

ROME, GA (October 11, 2009) � Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN clinched the 2009 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championship in grand fashion by winning the final series race of the year on Sunday Night at Rome Speedway. Eastaboga, AL (October 9, 2009) � Officials of Talladega Short Track and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have postponed the Talladega Short Track Nationals due to rain. At 4:50pm (Central Time), officials made the decision to postpone the event until Saturday, November 14^th; heavy rains have battered the region for weeks and began to fall around 4:00pm, with more showers expected later in the evening.
