WAYCROSS, GA (October 30, 2011) – The 8th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals will air on TV on the SPEED Channel today Sunday, October 30th at 2pm EST. The event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was held at the famous Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville Iowa back in September. The three day crown jewel event was filmed for broadcast in High Definition by Lucas Oil Studios, a division of Lucas Oil Products, Inc.
The 1-hour broadcast of the Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals will also have several re-airings on SPEED throughout the month of November. The re-airings on SPEED are scheduled for Monday, October 31st at 3am EST, Wednesday, November 2nd at 4am EST, Saturday November 5th at 3pm EST, Tuesday November 8th at 3am EST and Monday November 14th at 12pm EST.
The 8th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals was the largest paying dirt late model event in the country with a total purse over $260,000 and the winner receiving $40,000. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has several events remaining that will be broadcast on SPEED this year with the new updated TV Schedule and air times listed on the series website.

The 2012 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Schedule is complete and now posted on the series website. The series has 46 confirmed dates in 19 different states for 2012 adding several new markets to the series schedule including Nebraska, Mississippi and Michigan. The series completed 39 events in 2011 with an industry high average of 49 cars per event. The series also saw more than 500 different competitors during the 2011 campaign.
