Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Official Points Standings

WAYCROSS, GA (October 4, 2011) – The official points standings from the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series following the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals are available at http://www.lucasdirt.com/point-standings/championship-points/

The LOLMDS held a preliminary Knoxville Nationals points meeting with our perfect attendance drivers at the Topless 100 in Batesville, AR. The meeting addressed how the drivers would earn championship points. Series officials stated that no driver points would be earned on Thursday or Friday nights. The series also noted that there would not be series provisionals on Thursday or Friday nights.  The drivers were also notified that all points would be awarded based off of the official finishing order of the Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals on Saturday night, October 1st, 2011.  

The LOLMDS heads into this weekend's events at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA on Saturday night, October 8th and Rome Speedway this Sunday night, October 9th.
