Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Event at Wythe Raceway Has Been Rained Out Tonight

Rural Retreat, VA (June18, 2011) – Tonight’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, VA has been rained out. Heavy rains have been steady at the speedway and the forecast calls for even more severe weather throughout the night.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series would like to remind everyone to tune in tomorrow to watch the “Rockstar Energy Drink Show-Me 100 presented by DART Machinery” on CBS Sports Spectacular at 5PM EST. This broadcast will be the first time a dirt late model event will be televised on a major TV Network. The event was held on May 27th and 28th at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. and was won by Jimmy Owens in an exciting finish beating two time series defending champion Scott Bloomquist at the line by a half a car length.
