Spring Shootout at La Salle Postponed Until September

La Salle, IL (May 14, 2011) – Officials of La Salle Speedway and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have made the decision to postpone tonight’s $10,000 to-win “Spring Shootout” at La Salle Speedway due to inclement weather conditions. Rains have been steady at the speedway all morning and look to continue throughout the day. The forecast for the remainder of the weekend looks to continue the soaking rains that have already drenched the grounds of the famed speed-plant.

The event is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday Night, September 27th, as part of the “Road to Knoxville”, leading drivers to the Lucas Oil “Late Model Knoxville Nationals” at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA.
