Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 2011 TV Air Dates Released

WAYCROSS, GA (March 2, 2011) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce their 2011 season Television Airdate Package. Since its inception, the LOLMDS has had more coverage than any national dirt late model touring series. In 2011, the series will air 12 events on SPEED, 4 events on VERSUS, 4 events on MavTV, and will air the 2011 DART Show-Me 100 from Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO on the CBS Saturday Sports Spectacular.
 
For the season, SPEED will broadcast the final nights of the “34th Annual DART Winternationals” from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL; the “Bad Boy 98” from Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR; and the “Clash at the Mag” from Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS. Also airing on SPEED will be the “Budweiser Battle at the Beach 100” from Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL; the Sunoco Race Fuels “North/South 100” at Florence Speedway in Union, KY; the series event from Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN; the “River Days Rumble” at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, OH; and the ASi Racewear “USA 100” from Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA. The series will cap off its 2011 SPEED Broadcast Schedule with the “Jackson 100” from Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN and the Lucas Oil “Dixie Shootout” from Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
 
Airing on VERSUS will be Friday night of the 34th Annual DART “Winternationals” from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL; the “Bad Boy 98” from Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR; the Sunoco Race Fuels “North/South 100” at Florence Speedway in Union, KY; and the Lucas Oil “Dixie Shootout” from Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
 
On MavTV, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will also air the 34th Annual DART “Winternationals” from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL; the “Bad Boy 98” from Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR; the Sunoco Race Fuels “North/South 100” at Florence Speedway in Union, KY; and the Lucas Oil “Dixie Shootout” from Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
 
For the first time in dirt late model racing history, the sport will be featured on the CBS Sports Spectacular. The 2011 DART “Show Me 100” from Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO will air on Saturday June 19th at 4:00PM (Eastern). The CBS Sports Spectacular is one of the oldest and longest running programs for sports on television, airing for the first time on January 3rd, 1960.
 
All of the events will be filmed for broadcast in High Definition by Lucas Oil Studios, a division of Lucas Oil Products, Inc.
