Advance Ticket Sales Available for Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil; Red Buck Cigars Steps Up Fast Time Challenge for Event

CORONA, CA (June 10, 2009) – Advance discounted 2-day tickets for the 28^th Sunoco Race Fuels Annual North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil at Florence Speedway in Union, KY are on sale until July 31^st.  The event, which will be held August 13^th-14^th will pay $50,000 and is sure to draw the top dirt late model racers from across the country again this year. Officials of Florence Speedway, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Red Buck Cigars are also excited to announce that Red Buck Cigars have stepped up the award for Fast Time Qualifier at the event; the driver with the quickest lap will receive $1,000 for the feat.

Activities will get underway on Thursday Night, August 12^th with an open practice session followed on Friday Night, August 13^th with Red Buck Time Trials worth $1,000 for the driver with the quickest time. On Saturday Night, August 14^th, there will be the Heat Races, B-Mains and the 28^th Sunoco Race Fuels Annual North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil paying $50,000 to win and $2500 to start.  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the event for the third consecutive year.  Jimmy Mars of Menomonie, WI won the event in 2009.

Also, there will be the 10^th Annual National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies in front of the main grandstand on Saturday.  The 2010 National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Inductees are: Bobby Paul, Roger Long, Ernie Derr, Billy Scott, Ronnie Weeden, Mike Head, Steve Kosiski, The Thomas Family of Phenix City, AL.

Prime seats are selling quickly and everyone has until July 31^st to purchase advanced two day passes at a discounted price. After that date, including the day of the race, tickets and seats will be available at full price.
