Series Gets Busy on ESPN2, June 12th and 16th

CORONA, CA (June 8, 2005)- The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series brings its dirt slinging, side by side action to ESPN2 this Sunday, June 12 and Thursday, June 16. On Sunday, June 12 at 12:00 Noon (Eastern Time) it will be the re-airing of the 2005 East Bay Raceway Park Late Model Winternationals finale from Tampa, FL. This exciting showcase event was won by Don O'Neal, who started 20th on the grid, had a flat tire on lap 14 and restarted 25th and later came back to win taking the lead with just three laps go to take the $12,000 victory. That will be followed on ESPN2 by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race from The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC at 12:30 PM (Eastern Time). Jackie Boggs would take the lead late in the race and go on for the $10,000 win after starting in 10th position.
On Thursday afternoon, June 16 the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is on the tube with ESPN2 with the event from the Farley Speedway in Farley, IA. "The Palace of Speed" would see another tremendous race for the series as another first time winner emerged as Scott James took home the $10,000 first place payoff after starting in 12th. This event will air at 3:30 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday afternoon, June 16.
